10/10/10: Watch Your Language
On repeating numbers, higher standards + the energy of building a life that feels like a ten.

People lie. Numbers don’t.
They can be interpreted, reduced, multiplied, turned into statistics, lucky numbers, passwords and entire belief systems — but there is something satisfyingly clean about a number.
And every once in a while, the calendar gives us one worth looking at twice.
10/10/10.
October 10th.
The tenth day of the tenth month.
And 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10.
Ten. Ten. Ten.
And this year, it happens to land on a Saturday — not a bad day to give your life a little attention.
Whether repeating numbers feel like cosmic breadcrumbs, a pattern-loving brain doing what it does best, or a little bit of both, they have a useful way of interrupting the noise long enough to make us notice.
And ten has particularly good branding.
Ten out of ten.
A perfect ten.
Top ten.
Ten fingers. Ten toes.
The whole thing.
In numerology, 10 is often associated with the completion of one cycle and the beginning of another — because once we reach ten, we return to one again.
So 10/10/10 feels like a pretty fabulous day to talk about the standard.
Not perfection.
The standard.
The quality of the life being built.
The quality of the relationships inside it.
The way the body is cared for.
The way money is earned, spent and spoken about.
The amount of beauty, pleasure, honesty and actual aliveness allowed into an ordinary day.
A 10-out-of-10 life doesn’t need to look flawless.
It needs to feel like yours.
And the sky happens to be adding its own punctuation.
A New Moon arrives in Libra on October 10, marking the beginning of a fresh lunar cycle. Astrologically, Libra is connected with relationships, partnership, harmony, beauty, fairness and balance.
At the same time, Venus — the planet astrology associates with love, beauty, pleasure, money and value — is retrograde in Scorpio.
So the energy isn’t simply screaming more.
It has discernment built into it.
Better.
Truer.
More reciprocal.
More beautiful because it actually fits.
A new beginning works much better when the old definition has been updated first.
The things once considered a perfect ten do not necessarily stay tens forever.
Taste changes.
Standards change.
Relationships evolve.
Ambition changes shape.
A version of success that looked dazzling five years ago can suddenly feel strangely small.
That isn’t failure.
That’s information.
And 10/10/10 gives us a reason to tune into it.
A PERFECT TEN IS PERSONAL
Health can be a ten without looking like punishment.
Wealth can be a ten without becoming a number impressive enough to post online.
A relationship can be a ten without being perfect.
Beauty can be a ten without becoming sameness.
And an ordinary day can be a ten without anything particularly extraordinary happening.
That last one matters.
Because most of life isn’t the vacation, the wedding, the birthday, the launch, the promotion, the full moon or the portal.
It’s the in-between days.
It’s getting dressed.
It’s the coffee.
It’s opening the laptop.
It’s the drive.
It’s the people we come home to.
It’s the language running through our own heads while nobody else is listening.
A dream life that only feels dreamy during its highlight reel is probably due for an edit.
WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE

Language is energy in one of its most practical forms.
Words change rooms.
They change relationships.
They change negotiations.
They can soften a nervous system or send one straight into defense.
They tell other people what we expect, what we’ll accept and what we believe is possible.
And perhaps most importantly:
we hear ourselves say them.
There is a very different frequency between:
everything is a disaster
and
this is a difficult moment.
Between:
I’m terrible with money
and
I’m learning to handle money differently.
Between:
love never works for me
and
this isn’t the kind of love I want anymore.
The circumstances may not instantly change.
The relationship to them does.
This isn’t about covering difficult things in positive language until they disappear.
Low language isn’t automatically more honest because it sounds cynical.
And optimism isn’t automatically delusion because it leaves room for something better.
Truth can hold both.
This is hard, and I believe it can change.
I’m grateful for what I have, and I want more.
This mattered, and it may no longer fit.
I love who I’ve been, and I’m allowed to evolve.
That kind of language leaves room.
And on a date built around tens, it feels worth noticing what we keep saying about the life we’re trying to create.
If the universe is listening, give it something useful to work with.
And even if the universe isn’t taking notes, you are.
Your friends are.
Your partner is.
Your children are.
Your colleagues are.
Your body is.
Words influence expectations.
Expectations influence choices.
Choices become patterns.
Patterns have a funny way of becoming a life.
So speak more of the truth you actually want to live inside.
Love that feels mutual.
Money that creates freedom.
Health that creates capacity.
Work that uses your gifts.
Friendships that feel generous.
A home that feels good when the door closes behind you.
More laughter.
More beauty.
More time.
More life.
Your dream doesn’t need to dress down to be taken seriously.
In fact —
let the dream be a little overdressed.
HEALTH. WEALTH. RELATIONSHIPS.
Libra naturally puts relationships into focus, and relationships are one of the easiest places to notice where the standard has shifted.
Romantic relationships, yes.
But also friendship.
Family.
Business.
Money.
The body.
Time.
Work.
The relationship with ambition.
And the quiet relationship between what we say we want and what our daily choices keep voting for.
Balance is not always fifty-fifty.
Sometimes balance means realizing ten units of energy have been going somewhere that consistently returns two.
Sometimes raising the standard is less dramatic than leaving.
It looks like speaking differently.
Asking clearly.
Charging appropriately.
Resting sooner.
Buying less but better.
Calling the person back.
Putting the phone down.
Wearing the good thing for no particular reason.
Saying I love you while there is still plenty of time to say it.
A 10-out-of-10 life is not built by scoring perfectly in every category.
It is built by becoming more honest about what deserves a ten.
And what no longer does.
PEOPLE LIE. NUMBERS DON’T.

The 10/10 energy doesn’t need another enormous checklist attached to it.
No perfect portal performance required.
No race to become an entirely new person before midnight.
A repeating number can be useful simply because it creates a pause in the ordinary programming.
A moment to notice.
What is already working.
What has become better than expected.
Where the standard quietly slipped.
What deserves more energy.
What deserves less.
Then keep living.
Because the real goal isn’t to have one perfect 10/10 day.
It’s to build more days you would happily give a ten.
More mornings you’re glad to wake up inside.
More relationships where the truth can be spoken.
More money attached to work that feels worthwhile.
More health that lets you participate in your own life.
More beauty that feels good from the inside too.
More ordinary days you don’t need to escape from.
The numbers will keep changing.
The calendar always does.
But for one day, it lines up beautifully:
10/10/10.
A perfect little reminder to raise the language, raise the standard + tune into the life being created in real time.
The universe is very big.
Life is surprisingly precious.
There is no need to whisper about wanting yours to be wonderful.
Go for the 10.
